Chief Executive OfficerMr. Hutchison serves as GCSES Chief Executive Officer. He has over 35 years of sales, engineering, manufacturing, capital project management and executive management experience driving growth, operational excellence, project leadership and business development, in the Pulp and Paper and Industrial rubber manufacturing industries. Mr. Hutchison received his Bachelor of Science degrees in Chemical Engineering and Pulp and Paper Engineering from the Georgia Institute of Technology (cum laude) and an Executive MBA certificate from Emory University.
Chief Operating OfficerShane Haygood joined GCSES in November 2017 and serves as Chief Operating Officer. He has over 28 years of manufacturing experience in the pulp and paper and rubber industry. During his career, he has held senior management positions with Graphic Packaging Corporation, Robbins LLC, and Georgia Pacific Bleached Board Division, utilizing Lean and Six Sigma skills to drive operational improvement and cost reduction initiatives. He received his Bachelor of Business Administration from Mercer University.
Chief Financial Officer
Mr. Yow joined GCSES in September 2018 and serves as Chief Financial Officer. Mr. Yow has over 25 years of experience in numerous financial management roles. He most recently was Chief Financial Officer for GTL where he served in that capacity for 15 years. Mr. Yow was instrumental in the growth of GTL from under $20M over annual EBITDA to over $200M. He received his undergraduate degree from Birmingham-Southern College and his MBA from Emory University.
Chief Supply Chain Officer
Mr. Sheff started his career with Exxon in classic engineering roles in the petrochemical space. He ultimately chose consumer packaged goods for the long term, with an 18 year career with Procter & Gamble, followed by a decade of executive roles at Dial/Henkel, Graphic Packaging, and Wrigley/Mars. While at P&G, Mr. Sheff played key leadership roles in the building of two of P&G’s billion dollar global brands (Pantene® and Pringles®) in Asia and the US. Mr. Sheff received his Bachelor of Science degree in Chemical Engineering (cum laude) from the Georgia Institute of Technology.
VP Human Resources / HS&E
Vic Merritt joined GCSES in July of 2017 and serves as Vice President of Human Resources/ Health, Safety & Environmental. His duties also include risk management. He has over 29 years of experience in the oil and gas industry, 18 of those years with Shell Pipeline Corporation. In his career, he has held senior management positions in companies that offer diverse services such as commercial diving, DOT transportation, truck crane and rigging operations and pipeline construction and maintenance. He is Six Sigma certified and received his bachelor’s degree from Nicholls State University.
